Spiderman: Homecoming is one of the most exciting movies of the summer, and we’re getting the full Spiderman experience with a movie preview.
Here are five things you should know about the upcoming movie.
Spiderman’s first movie in the franchise debuted in 2016 with a bang and set the tone for the series.
This was followed by Spiderman 3, in 2019, and the film’s sequel, Spiderman 4 in 2020.
In the meantime, the web-slinging superhero has been busy in his adventures, appearing in movies like Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.
2 and The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
The film was directed by Tobey Maguire and features Peter Parker (Tom Holland) and Peter Parker’s younger brother Miles (Jamie Bell), who are living in New York City.
The two first meet each other when Peter (Holland) is just getting out of high school, when they learn that their parents are still alive.
Peter and Miles are forced to stay with their Aunt May (Miles’ mother) in their hometown of Southside, New York, while Peter continues to live with his Aunt and Uncle, including the famous Spidey suit.
They’re also introduced to the character of Venom, an extraterrestrial creature with the ability to transform into spider-like creatures.
Peter has a very busy life with a variety of superhero teams, including The Avengers, the Avengers Defenders, The Defenders and The Defenders 2.
He’s also got his own solo movie, Spider-Verse, due out this summer.
Spider-Man: Homegoing also stars Zendaya (Mia Wasikowska), Jeremy Renner (Tom Hardy), Jacob Batalon (Michael Keaton), and Sebastian Stan (Ethan Hawke).
It’s slated to hit theaters on May 7, 2019.
